Project details

Project: Notting Hill Gate

Client: Masonbell Scaffolding

Date: 2020 onwards

Located in one of the most desirable areas of London, this historic mixed-use property is arranged in two distinct blocks. The refurbishment project maintains the Victorian terraced house facing Notting hill gate while the corner building is stripped back to frame and extended.

The scaffolding project includes a range of different solutions during the length of the works. A façade scaffold was required to the front with pavement and loading gantries to allow a safe pedestrian way out of the station.

Moving forward, additional scaffold towers and heavy duty lifting beams internally and externally were installed. Scaffolding be spoke solutions to restrain the wall parapets were used in combination to the waling system. The scaffold was topped with a temporary roof to provide full protection to the job from the London weather.
